This is what the job is about
As Reporting Manager, you will be part of L's finance team. You will be responsible for reporting to internal stakeholders such as the Group Controller and the Board, as well as external stakeholders such as banks and internal controllers.

You will lead the audit process for the Dutch financial statements and implement improvements for both management reporting and the monthly close.

In summary:

  • Consolidate monthly reporting packages from all subsidiaries;
  • Preparing and improving management reports and analyzing data on a monthly basis;
  • Setting up an internal control framework;
  • Develop dashboards to track progress against L's objectives and monitor trends;
  • Improving the monthly close process;
  • Preparing periodic reports for the Board and other (internal/external) stakeholders;
  • Maintain the accounting manual;
  • Support local teams with technical accounting issues;
  • Preparing positioning documents for new developments;
  • Provide training to local teams as required;
  • Leading the audit process for the Dutch financial statements;
  • Liaise closely with Group, Financial and Business Control;
  • Supporting project teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting of complex transactions.

What you need?

  • A completed HBO or WO education in business economics or finance;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (preferably in a corporate environment);
  • A good command of both Dutch and English;
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP is a must;
  • The ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing international environment.
