Over deze functie
As Controller, you are responsible for providing reliable financial insights and ensuring that the organization remains financially in control. Your primary focus will be the location in Taiwan, where you support both operational and strategic decision-making.
You work closely with the local team as well as colleagues in the Netherlands. With your analytical mindset and process-oriented approach, you contribute to optimizing financial processes and strengthening the financial foundation of Optima Cycles.
Your responsibilities include:
- Drive the optimization and harmonization of financial processes across locations;
- Support ERP setup, automation, and further system improvements;
- Manage the month-end close, including analysis and reporting;
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and the planning cycle;
- Support the transition of administrative activities;
- Collaborate closely with international stakeholders in Taiwan and the Netherlands.
Wat heb je nodig?
You are a hands-on financial professional who understands the story behind the numbers and knows how to translate data into clear insights. You feel comfortable working in an international environment and see cultural differences as an opportunity rather than a challenge.
You bring:
- A Bachelor or Master level of working and thinking, preferably with a degree in Business Economics, Finance & Control, or Accountancy;
- A solid foundation in accounting (bookkeeping, month-end closing) and/or controlling (analysis, forecasting, planning);
- Experience with setting up or optimizing financial processes;
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English and/or Dutch;
- Willingness to work in Taiwan for a few times a year.
