For GXO Logistics Amsterdam (Schiphol), we are looking for an experienced and proactive Controller who acts as a financial sparring partner to site leadership and plays a key role in driving financial performance.

As a Controller, you are responsible for the financial steering of one or more logistics sites. You advise management on finance and controlling matters, collaborate closely with international stakeholders and, for the Amsterdam (Schiphol) location, partner with Site Managers across multiple countries. You contribute directly to performance optimization and support strategic decision-making.
Your responsibilities include:
- Advising site leadership and managers on financial and controlling topics;
- Managing the full P&L and overseeing local accounting processes;
- Leading month-end and year-end closing;
- Preparing sales invoices and aligning with site managers and customers;
- Developing and maintaining internal control systems;
- Leading budgeting and weekly/monthly forecasting, including corrective actions where required;
- Identifying cost drivers and initiating improvement actions;
- Acting as a finance business partner in collaboration with international cross-functional teams.

Wat heb je nodig?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or equivalent;
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting and/or controlling;
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills;
- Analytical, hands-on and improvement-focused;
- Experienced with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills;
- Experience within a 3PL or logistics environment would be considered an advantage;
- Fluent in English;
- Available for 36–40 hours per week.
